Materials:
One paper or cloth napkin

Use a paper napkin as it comes folded in the package.
If you are using a cloth napkin fold it in half and then in half again to get a square.

Place the napkin on the table with folded edge on the bottom and the open edges on the top and right side.
There should be 4 layers. Grab 2 layers at the top right point and fold them down to the bottom left point.

Result

Rotate the napkin so that the fold is horizontal.

Flip the napkin over to the back side

Bring the side points over to the center.

Result
*The points are in line with the top and bottom points

Flip the napkin over to the front side.
That’s it!
Now all you have to do is insert the silverware into the pocket.
